District SW-PBS Team Meeting Summaries (2020-2021)
March 2021
What updates/feedback need to be shared with executive leadership regarding implementation progress and outcomes?
- Tier 2 intervention subgroups shared progress since the last meeting. Team members present discussed the development of internal PD resources to support the fidelity of implementation for each intervention (Check & Connect, Check-in Check-out, Social Skills Groups).
- Subgroups will meet before the April meeting to develop flowcharts for each Tier 2 intervention. The purpose of the flowchart will be to document how each intervention should be implemented with fidelity.
- The full team will discuss the development of a flowchart to guide Tier 2 processes in general (nomination process, initial implementation, progress monitoring, and exiting, or fading).
February 2021
What updates/feedback need to be shared with executive leadership regarding implementation progress and outcomes?
- Inclement weather has prevented most of our Tier 2 sub-committees from meeting in-person during January. Groups will schedule a time to meet during February to share their procedural document for Tier 2 interventions.
- The next steps for the district team include the preparation of PD resources for each intervention and the development of a Tier 2 flowchart.
- MO SW-PBS Summer Institute will be virtual this summer and will be held over several weeks. Each week will cover a specific theme to support ongoing implementation. Registration is $75 per participant.
January 2021
What updates/feedback need to be shared with executive leadership regarding implementation progress and outcomes?
- Sub-committees for Tier 2 interventions worked together to compare and contrast how each building is implementing interventions. They will schedule a time over the next month to meet in-person and finalize processes.
December 2020
What updates/feedback need to be shared with executive leadership regarding implementation progress and outcomes?
- Tier 2 Interventions approved by the District Team are: CICO, Social Skills, Check and Connect. Other interventions can be used, but the District will not provide training internally or externally.
- The District PBIS team has developed sub-committees for Tier 2 interventions. At our next district PBIS meeting (1/4/21), the teams will work together to compare and contrast how each building is implementing interventions. They will then take that information and create a document for interventions that are approved by the District Team.

What are the 3 big ideas that need to be shared with stakeholders? Consider communication information, data, and accomplishments.

- The team is discussing how to do fidelity checks/observations with COVID barriers.
September 2020
Work products and projects from last spring (Tier 1 observation form, Tier 2 nomination form) were discussed and given consideration for usage this fall. It was determined to delay implementation of the Tier 1 observation process in light of COVID.
Building level data from the SAS and TFI are available from 19-20 and has been shared with representatives from the district team. This will be reviewed by administrators, counselors, and building PBIS teams to guide improvement efforts this year.
Celebrations - Fulton Public Schools received the Mary Miller Richter District of Distinction Award for 2019-20.
