Welcome to Bush School!
Here you can find a little bit about our counselors.
Hello, Bush Elementary! My name is Amanda Grethen, and I am the full-time school counselor for Bush Elementary. This is my first year as a school counselor, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with Fulton's students. I am a current graduate student with Missouri Baptist University working towards my Master's in School Counseling. I am also the counseling intern for the Fulton High School Counseling Department. I have always had a soft spot for the Fulton community, so being a member of the FPS counseling team is a fantastic opportunity that I am very grateful for.
I look forward to supporting your child through classroom instruction, individual counseling, and small group counseling.
My office hours (only on days that FPS is in session), are Monday-Friday, 8am-330pm, with calls and emails being answered during this time.
When I am not working, I love to do anything outside, bake, read, and spend time with my family.
This year presents a uniqueness that I am pleased to assist the students of Bush Elementary with. Here is to a happy and healthy year!

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in teaching, from the University of Missouri and graduated with my masters in counseling, from Stephens College. I will be teaching weekly lessons with K-2nd grade and will also be conducting small group counseling sessions. I am so excited to start this school year!
