I am the new assistant principal at Bush Elementary and am so excited to be joining an amazing group of educators and families! I believe it is so important to build strong relationships with families to help support the success of all students here at Bush. As a mother of a teenage boy, I understand the value of communication between the home and school. The more we can work together, the better the experiences your children will have at school.
Before coming to Bush Elementary, I worked in Columbia Public schools for the past twelve years as a fourth and fifth grade teacher. I've worked with teachers throughout the district to implement a strong elementary mathematics curriculum and look forward to sharing my knowledge with the Fulton community. I have my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, watching my son play competitive baseball and basketball, and spending time outdoors.
I look forward to meeting all our Bush families and getting to know each and every one of you! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
